Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using RC Garage, you agree to these Terms of Service. Certain community features require explicit acceptance of the current RC Garage Community Rules & Terms before you can post or interact.

2. RC Garage accounts

A community account is optional for the core Android garage features, but an account is required for account-based community features and RC Garage Web cloud data. You are responsible for keeping your password and account access secure and for activity performed through your account.

3. User content

You are responsible for the content you create, upload, send or share. This includes profile content, photos, banners, shared Garage data, posts, polls, comments, direct messages, forum content and social links. You must have the right to share that content and must follow the Community Guidelines.

4. Licence needed to operate the service

You retain ownership of your content. By uploading or sharing content, you give RC Garage the limited permission needed to store, process, transmit, resize, display and otherwise handle that content solely to provide the features you requested, such as showing your profile, delivering a message or displaying a shared Garage.

5. Moderation and account restrictions

RC Garage may review reports and may remove content, restrict community features, suspend or ban accounts, or take other reasonable moderation actions when rules are broken or when needed for service security and user safety. Device-ban and abuse-prevention measures may be used to enforce serious bans.

6. Garage, parts and safety information

RC Garage is an information and organisation tool. Catalog data, manuals, exploded views, product/part numbers, maintenance information, weather information and reminders can be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. Always verify the exact vehicle, part, charger, battery specification and official manufacturer instructions before purchase, installation, charging, storage or use.

LiPo batteries and RC equipment can involve real safety risks. RC Garage does not replace manufacturer instructions or professional technical, electrical or safety advice.

7. Third-party services

Links or integrations can lead to third-party services such as Google, Discord, Open-Meteo, manufacturer websites and social platforms. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. RC Garage does not control their availability, content or data handling.

8. Privacy and deletion

Your use of RC Garage is also subject to the Privacy Policy. Information about permanently deleting an online account is available on the Account Deletion page.

9. Availability and changes

RC Garage is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may be added, changed, temporarily unavailable or removed. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, RC Garage, JVG.112 and its administrators are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the service, including data loss, incorrect orders, incompatible parts, vehicle/equipment damage, battery damage or damage caused by third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated when RC Garage features, community functionality, legal requirements or service practices change. Material changes can be communicated through the app, website or community where appropriate.
