Community Guidelines

RC Garage Community Rules

These are aligned with the rules currently enforced by RC Garage for community posting and interaction.

1. Keep it RC-related. Keep discussions about RC, drones, builds, repairs, driving and the RC Garage community.
2. No abuse. No threats, harassment, bullying, hate speech, targeted humiliation or encouragement of abuse.
3. No sexual or exploitative content. No sexual/pornographic content, sexual solicitation, or content exploiting or endangering minors.
4. No illegal activity, scams or privacy abuse. No illegal activity, scams, spam, malware, impersonation, doxxing or sharing someone else's private information.
5. No harmful violence content. No graphic violence or instructions primarily intended to cause harm.
6. Respect copyright. Only upload material you are allowed to share.
7. Use Report and Block. Report rule-breaking content and block users when you do not want interaction with them.
8. Moderation applies. RC Garage may remove content, restrict features or ban accounts to keep the community safe.

Where these rules apply

The rules apply to user-generated content and interaction across RC Garage, including profile names, bios, avatars, banners, social links, shared Garage content, feed posts, photos, polls, comments, direct messages, forum posts/replies and other community content.

Reporting and blocking

RC Garage includes in-app reporting and blocking. Report reasons include harassment/bullying, hate speech, sexual or explicit content, threats/violence, spam, scams/fraud, private information/doxxing, illegal content and other rule violations. Blocking a user can remove the friendship and stop direct-message interaction.

Serious violations

Serious safety or legal violations may be escalated where required by law or where necessary to protect users. For urgent RC Garage moderation/support questions, use the official RC Garage Discord.
